Attorney, Steve Sherick, is a board certified criminal law specialist, certified by the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization. With more than 30 years experience, Mr. Sherick can review your trial transcript and determine if you have grounds for an appeal. He will discuss your case, your options and your chances of success based upon his extensive experience as a criminal defense lawyer.

Attorney Adam Bleier, a partner at Sherick & Bleier, recently succeeded in overturning a first-degree murder conviction before the Arizona Supreme Court as a volunteer lawyer on behalf of the Arizona Justice Project. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice, among other organizations. He is devoted to defending clients charged with or appealing criminal offenses and convictions in state and federal court.

Setting Aside a Conviction

Setting aside a conviction after completion of your sentence can open some doors that may have closed when you were convicted of your crime. For example, you may be able to regain your civil rights and have your right to possess a firearm restored. You may be eligible again for state employment. In addition, you may be able to protect your employment in occupations that require maintaining a fingerprint clearance card. Also, some credit reporting agencies remove your conviction from your credit file, which could impact your ability to rent a place to live.

We provide a second chance for clients statewide in appeals and post-conviction cases involving state crimes and federal crimes, including setting aside your conviction. If you believe you were wrongly found guilty or received an unfair sentence, or if you have completed your sentence and would like to discuss having your conviction set aside, please contact us.

If the outcome is important to you, you should retain the services of an Arizona Board Certified Criminal Law Specialist* with over 30 years of experience.
