Arizona Board Certified Criminal Law Specialist

Sherick & Bleier defends those charged with a criminal offenses throughout Tucson and Southern Arizona. Steve Sherick, is a certified criminal law specialist. His certification came from the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization which recognizes outstanding accomplishments and expertise in criminal law. With more than 30 years of experience as a criminal defense attorney, Steve Sherick has likely handled a matter similar to yours. He has tried and prevailed in criminal cases in both state and federal court and has argued before the state appellate courts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.  

Mr. Sherick has received numerous awards and recognitions from other lawyers and the community, including an AV®-rating** under Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system, recognition as an Arizona Super Lawyer®, Arizona Finest Lawyer®, and a member of the Bar Register of Preeminent Attorneys. In addition, he has lectured to lawyers and other legal professionals on criminal law and criminal procedure. He is also a past president of the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice and a member of National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.  He has also served as a board member of the Board of Governors for the State Bar of Arizona.

Adam Bleier has been practicing law for over 13 years and is licensed to practice in both Arizona and Oregon.  He practices criminal law in state and federal court at both the trial court and appellate levels.  He has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Arizona Supreme Court.  Prior to entering law school, Mr. Bleier was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Munich, Germany.  Mr. Bleier is fluent in Spanish and frequently represents Spanish speaking clients in both federal and state court.  His practice also focuses on the representation of minors and younger adults charged with criminal offenses, whether in adult or juvenile court.  

Mr. Bleier is currently a Board Member and Secretary of the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice, an organization which fights for the interests of criminal defendants and defense lawyers in the State of Arizona.  Since 2005, he has served as a volunteer attorney for the Arizona Justice Project, for which organization he argued and won the reversal of a first-degree murder conviction.  Mr. Bleier also serves as the Regional Coordinator of the Arizona High School Mock Trial Regional Tournament, which is held annually at the Pima County Superior Court.
